Her rep Jason Owen confirms in a statement "Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.”
Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, married in December 1993, just six months after meeting. They have a 7-year-old son named Eja D'Angelo.
A new Twain album is expected later this year; Universal Music Group Nashville hasn't said whether or not Lange had a hand in the forthcoming set.
